Meet the Chef [Open]

Xella entered the cafeteria with high hopes. She wanted to cook for students and it was a job she had back at home. She approached the kitchen and asked if she could cook here. She was allowed. After proper sanitation she started to get working on delicious and healthy food. She prepared a meal she loved, Hot Dog Rodeo. It was a hot dog that had celery on top to and had spaghetti over it. It was going to be delicious.

Regan entered the cafeteria, with an empty stomach. "Man, I'm really hungry right now. I need something to eat." He looked at the menu, and it reminded him, why he never bought lunch. It disgusted him. However, he caught a scent of hot dogs. He turned to see a girl, cooking them. He walked over and said, "Well, that does smell delicious."

Xella attention turned towards the noise. "Oh! Hello! Yes, this is my cooking. I call it Hot Dog Rodeo! It is a treat I brought from home."

"Hot Dog Rodeo? Seems plausible to eat. How much is it?" He began to pull out his wallet. He was guessing it was a special so about 3-4 dollars.

"Oh no! I'm making it for free! Here, this one is ready!" She gave him the meal. she hope it would appeal to him, since he was a teacher, and if it was good, she others would love it as well.

Regan took a bite out of it and the first contact, was great. Regan's mouth tingled with delicious food. "This...is really good! I love it! You should keep making those!" He never had such good food, ever since, he left his parent's home.

Xella smiled and sighed with relief. "Thank you, this was from the farms. I guess it is also my family's signature lunch. They always had it for special occasions. I have the entire family recipe's in my head, so I can make whatever suits me that day." She smiled and cooked another, "Here, have another. One usually never fills someone up."

"Well thank you." He took another, and ate it. "It is nice to have family food made for people. It always remind you of the great memories you share with them. I remember my parents always made their signature beef broth. It was so good. I wish I had some now."

"Family always comes first in my life. I could never leave them for myself. They are too close to me. Friends are expendable, you lose some, you gain some. However, parents, you only get two of them. Step-parents don't count. They are just a filler. Just more of a friend than a parent.

"Family is an importance in anyone's lives. As a kid, you may think that parents are cruel and you wish to have freedom, but they are merely protecting you. They may only have you to watch over and that is no fun." Regan remembers his life as a teenager. He always wished to do stuff on his own. Away from his parents. Now, that he was older, he wished he could treated them better.

Xella knew why Mr. Luu brought up the topic of family. He had a hard childhood and now he was reminiscing from it. She just smiled and said, "How about this Mr. Luu. If you could continue having talks with about family and tradition, I would be more than glad to give you a meal every day? Would that be good?"

Regan smiled, "I would gladly accept. Talks about family and tradition is a good topic. I might make it a part of my Alternative English course. Now, if I may ask. Can I have one more of those Hot Dog Rodeos? It is extremely delicious." Regan's mouth was watering from the smell of it.

Xella laughed, she had a teacher that loves her food. She made another one, and gave it to him. "Here you go, Mr. Luu." She enjoyed his company, and she wished to have more of it.

"Thank you so much. This is gosh darn amazing." He loved the countryside. He wrote stories about the country before. People are so close and together it was convenient. He had ate the third one, and it still had the taste of the first one.

Xella giggled, "It should be. I cooked each one to match the person's taste. I guess it is a special skill I have." She smiled and then got up to stretch her legs. "Man...my legs were sleeping."

Regan laughed, "Well, you should do some running to get to wake up." He smiled, "Well, I best be going, I should be back in my class setting stuff up."

Berry yawns and walks in. she stretches and smiles wide. she takes a deep breath "Man am HUNGRY!" she laughs happily and looks around.

"Did someone say hungry? I have some Hot Dog Rodeo made from the countryside if you want something to eat!" Xella said when she heard that.

Regan turned around and there was Berry, he waved to her and smiled, "Xella, I think you have your first actual tester.

"Really now?" She laughed, she cooked one and walked over to Berry and gave here one. "I hope you like it. This is a family recipe."

Berry smiles and takes it. she sits down "it looks really good!" she smiles happily and takes a bite. her eyes widen she claps her hands "this is really good!!"

Regan smiled, "That's what I said. It is amazing." He smiled at Berry, then he turned to Xella. "Well, I'm sure that you are going to have a lot of people love your cooking."

Berry eats it all. "yummy! if anyone doesnt like your food tell me . i'll punch them in the eye!" she giggles and smiles.

Regan looked at her, "Berry, you know your saying that in front of a teacher." He smiled and gave her a little pat.

Berry blinks and smiles "so... am just saying it am not doing it yet." she giggles and hops up
