Back story:
History: Kumagawa actually loved a very normal and simple life, if you call being a loner normal. He had good grades, was somewhat social, he hanged with almost anybody and was invited to parties, and was exceptionally great at anything dealing with a computer. He proceed to graduate middle school near the top of his class, 7th place to be exact. With his graduation of middle school came High school. His parents wanted a good place for him to go and found Whisper Hallow, seeing as it had good reviews, and was a very nice looking campus. He is now on his way to Whisper Hallow, in hopes of a new life, with new people and friends.

First of all, I see you are editing the template. Do not do that. Secondly, the back-story and history are two different things. The back-story describes how you got into this academy, while the history gives an overall summary of your character. Thirdly, define a 'regular teenager'. Do these things firsthand, then reply for a second review.

I am really confused, because 1) I didnt edit the template, only copy and patse 2) I thought the "Backstory" thing was just a heading, seeing as it had no extra info like everything else

Backstory and History are two different things, one is a heading and the other requires content respectively.

What Edo means by "Editing the template" is that you've placed your content within the bold field when its supposed to be outside the bold so that the titles are bold and the content is normal. Not a big deal though.
