Portions for Kittens

Sitting at his desk in the suit he had been wearing all day with some water waiting to boil in his hotpot, Hiro looked through some files, pulling out a document with the signature of one of the students that attends his school. Placing it back in the file, he lays it on his desk before turning his attention to more pressing issues. Reading through various budget requests and grant proposals, he could not help but let out a sigh. While he loved his job, he loved all the paper work the least. He always dreaded having to go through every last one of these normally denied projects.

Hearing the sound of his water boiling, he takes the hot pot off the heater and pours the water into his tea pot so that the scalding water could draw the flavor out of the leaves. Setting his timer, he takes up a blue pen and lightly licks the tip before scrawling his signature over the requested line and ticking the denied box, citing that it was a duplicate and lacked any real pan for the money past finding a department's field trip fund.

*knocking hesitantly on the door to the office, tugging nervously at her school's outfit* ... i-i hope i don't upset him with my timing...*she nervously looks back at her fluffy cat's tail* - He said he had something to talk to me about after all.. *silently worries*

Looking up from his paperwork, Hiro lets Mari wait for a few seconds before loudly announcing "Enter", his voice ringing through his door and exiting through the door for her to hear. Waiting for the nob to turn and his guest to enter, he takes a tea cup from a small cabinet and pours himself from tea, waiting to see to see if Nao would rather a bowl of milk as opposed to the warm tea.

*hesitantly opens the door and bites her lip with worry* .. um.. headmaster- you said you wanted to talk to me-? *she tugs at her school outfit nervously to fix any wrinkles* ... i mean.. um.. im not sure what use i'd be to you-

Taking a sip from his tea he shakes his head slightly before saying, "It is not exactly what you can do for me or what I can do for you. It is what we can do for each other; I have read your record and the evaluation you had to go through in order to enter this school. I am after all the one that approved you. I have decided to offer you a way to pay for your tuition and let you be yourself without the cost of money or humiliation by your ignorant classmates."

i-ill do anything for that-! *pleadingly looks up at the headmaster: full of hope at the idea - not caring the consequences*

"Smiling at her he says "well my student, I have contract already here, basically you will come to my dorm or office depending on the directions I give for that day and act as personal assistant and maid; however in my dorm you shall also be my pet kitten and she be expected to let all your instincts loose".

*nervous about it, but knows she needs the money badly* ... i-ill sign.. a-and i'll do my best... *hesitant about letting her cat-side out: especially around catnip*.. w-where do i sign..?

Taking another sip from his tea, he holds out the folder for her to take and read to make sure she does not have any issue with it and to avoid being accused of her unknowingly signing the document. Having finished his required work for the day, he waits to see what she does, finishing his tea.

*signs immediately without even reading* ... a-anything i swear. *mews hopefully: wanting to be a worthwhile student*

"well then my new kitten, as I am done with my work for the day, lets go back to my dorm and take care of the orientation and get your collar and work uniform fitted" Hiro says, standing up as he takes the contract back. Putting it back into the folder, he stands up, setting his tea pot and cup away, not needing to clean them just yet.

*nervous about what she just did, but knows not to disobey or run* ... fitted... uniform..? *starting to wish she'd read the contract, but follows him to his dorm:nervously flicking her tail side to side.*

*takes one last look around the office: feeling she'll be spending alot of time here: not really sure what to expect*

*leaves after him nervously*
